Smiling MBA student Gautam Sharma, Full-Time MBA Ambassador

Gautam received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2012 and started working for one of the most valued IT services brand globally- TCS. Alongside his job as a software engineer, Gautam, along with his friend, started up a media and entertainment firm to quench his entrepreneurial thirst. He was also actively involved in hosting live events, sports broadcasting, video production, etc. Gautam is also a passionate public speaker and joined Toastmasters International in 2013. He has delivered over 250 speeches, training programs, and workshops, and has also won speech contests at the state, national, and cross-country levels. He is currently pursuing his Full-Time MBA with a focus on Marketing and an MS in Business Analytics with a focus on Marketing Analytics. He choose UTD because of its small class size, diversity, and the geographical advantage of Dallas. Outside of academics, Gautam loves photography, music, and pretty much everything that increases happiness levels.

Originally from India, Karan earned his bachelor’s degree in IT in 2010, following which he went on to work with Accenture for 9 years, the first five in India and the rest in the US. He has loved every bit of his work supporting Fortune 500 companies in the banking and healthcare sectors in their digital transformation journeys spanning from mainframe and windows-based applications to web-based platforms and finally to mobile.

Allison Potter earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Delaware in 2005.She explored a variety of industries in her professional career from commercial real estate to medical education to aptitude testing .

Rupal Mehta, Class of 2020

Rupal graduated from University of Houston in 2016 with a B.A. in Public Relations and was an active radio DJ and concert photographer for the university’s radio station during her time there. She was responsible for creating Uber Eats’ first-ever college brand ambassador program, which piloted in Houston and Austin.
