Originally from India, Karan earned his bachelor’s degree in IT in 2010, following which he went on to work with Accenture for nine years, the first five in India, and the rest in the US. He has loved every bit of his work supporting Fortune 500 companies in the banking and healthcare sectors in their digital transformation journeys spanning from mainframe and windows-based applications to web-based platforms and finally to mobile. But he wanted to get involved in product planning at a much higher level than simply implementing the plans already devised, so he decided to pursue an MBA.
He chose UT Dallas because of the warmth and affection he felt when interacting with the MBA Admissions team, and it’s one-of-a-kind personalized MBA experience. He hopes to bring to his program, not just his experiences but also his enthusiasm, to not only excel himself but to do everything he can to create the best environments for others to flourish in.
Karan has scuba-dived, sky-dived, and raced his Subaru-WRX in more than ten rallycross races, all with the love of his life, his wife! Riding his motorcycle for 255 miles through the majestic Himalayas, sharing the journey with three closest friends to reach 11200 feet altitude is another experience he feels he will cherish forever!

Rupal graduated from University of Houston in 2016 with a B.A. in Public Relations and was an active radio DJ and concert photographer for the university’s radio station during her time there. She was responsible for creating Uber Eats’ first-ever college brand ambassador program, which piloted in Houston and Austin.
