Full-Time MBA program Scholarship Opportunities

Two types of scholarships are available for the Full-Time MBA program – Cohort and Corporate. Both scholarships are merit-based and are determined along with your admission decision. To be considered, you are encouraged to apply by March 1, but scholarships may still be available after that date. In addition to applying for scholarships, you may apply for financial aid through the UT Dallas Financial Aid Office.

Accepted applicants compete for full and partial academic scholarships and teaching assistantships. Your scholarship package may consist of one or more of the above forms of assistance. In recent years, 75% of our incoming class was awarded some form of scholarship based on merit. Out-of-state scholarship recipients may receive a waiver for resident tuition rates. The average scholarship awarded to the incoming class last year was approximately 50% of the total 16-month program cost.

In addition, the UT Dallas Office of Financial Aid works closely with all admitted students who have completed a financial aid application and who may be eligible for loans, grants or a combination of the two, based on need. Short-term loan programs are available for international students as well.

Professional MBA program Scholarship Opportunities

The Naveen Jindal School of Management awards a limited number of merit-based scholarships to new Professional MBA students in the fall and spring semesters and to continuing students in the fall semester. Professional MBA candidates must submit a GMAT or GRE score to be eligible for new student scholarships in the Jindal School. You must have official GMAT/GRE exam scores sent to UT Dallas by the scholarship application deadline to be awarded a scholarship. Each scholarship may have specific requirements based on the purpose of the scholarship; however, the JSOM Graduate Scholarship Committee will consider applicants for all available scholarships. Continuing students are eligible to apply for scholarships after two long semesters. Visit the Scholarships at the Jindal School of Management page to view all requirements and to apply. Email jsom-grad-scholarship@utdallas.edu with any questions.
